ANSWERS TO SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE:

When buying a puppy, it's important to understand that every puppy has their own personality. Puppies from the same litter will not all have the same personality.  Some are shy, some are more outgoing, stubborn, loving, loud, quiet, etc., even with the same amount of handling or being from the same parents. Some will train very easily, others will take a bit more patience and time. Some puppies will readily adjust to their new homes, others may take longer depending on their environment, number of people in the family, ages of children, other pets, etc.

Our puppies come with a health record, registration application puppy paper, dewclaws removed, tail docked on Wheatens, current on vaccinations for age, de-wormed, and a 1 year written guarantee for life threatening genetic defects of the heart, liver, and kidney. All puppies are bathed before going to their new homes.
Puppies are vaccinated for Parvo at 5 weeks. They also receive a 5-way vax (DA2PPv) at 6 weeks, a Bordetella oral vax at 7 weeks, and a 6-way vax (DA2PPv+Cv) at 8 weeks.

When you pick up your puppy you will receive a new collar, leash, treats, and small packet of food. We wean and feed our puppies PURINA PRO-PLAN PERFORMANCE - ALL AGES  30/20/ (chicken is the first ingredient) in the purple & black bag, and recommend you keep them on it until at least 6 months of age. 

We recommend 'Charlee Bear' treats to help with training and as a low calorie treat. They come in different flavors and can be found at Pet-Co and PetSmart and some farm stores.  You can also order online from several different websites.  We use Chewy.com  Elk Antlers are also great for chewing.

  • Deposits are refundable only under certain situations. 
  • We accept personal check, money order, and PayPal.  A $100 deposit for Beagles and $200 deposit for Wheaten puppies are required to reserve a puppy.  Balance is due at time of pick up or before if you choose.
  • We charge a MINIMUM fee of $75 to meet you part way, and will also meet you at the Des Moines airport for free if you fly in to get your puppy.​ 
  • If for any reason you cannot keep your puppy and cannot find it another home, we will take it back and find him/her another home.  However, there are NO REFUNDS on returned puppies. And all paperwork must be returned with the puppy along with any vet visits.
  • Puppies are guaranteed to be a purebred dog of the stated breed, of sound body, good health, and free of communicable diseases as far as appears to the eye, unless otherwise noted on the health record. More Info

More Info You Might Need to Know

Shipping is not available.  You are welcome to fly into Des Moines, Iowa (DSM) and we will meet you at the airport with your puppy.  Please remember to bring a soft-sided pet carrier with you that will fit under the seat, and you will need to notify the airline you will be traveling with a puppy on your return flight.  The puppy's 'ticket' fee is approximately $100-$125 with most airlines.  Please check with your airline when making your reservation to make sure they allow in-cabin pets and at what age.
